Moscow International Travel Exhibition 2017
The exhibition, Mitt 2017, took place in Expo Centre in Moscow for the 24th time. It is the biggest Travel Fair in Russia and rated the 5th in the world. The participants from about 200 countries make it really a great event to visit for professionals and public.
Highly valued by international tourism community the most important B2B event of travel industry in Russia and CIS attracts visitors from all regions of Russia and other countries.
Exploring the exhibition, stopping at the stands, talking to people of different nationalities make you feel as if you are traveling around the world.
The women representing their regions, all different and beautiful as they are, give you so much information about the history, culture and traditions of their countries. It makes you wish to go to all these places from the East to the West.
Having a chance to talk to so many foreigners I asked them all the same question about three places in our capital which form the image of Moscow in their mind. The most mentioned places are Kremlin and Red Square, the Arbat and the Bolshoi Theatre. The frequent visitors who’ve had more time for sightseeing would put Tsaritsyno and Kolomenskoye as must-go places. The exhibition is like a good stage to make an interview or see the interesting one being made by others.
Now we are at the Russian stands. Moscow offers a lot of attractions — museums, galleries, special day and night tours. If you want to visit St Petersburg from Moscow there is a special private train that takes you there with comfort in just 9 hours.
Russia is huge and too many destinations to go: Golden Ring tours, Trans Siberian train trips, the Volga boat trips, Lake Baikal, North Siberian adventures.
Why not to start with something closer to Moscow? I would recommend the trip Vladimir – Suzdal, pleasure of seeing the first Christian churches in Russia and wooden houses of a small historic town. Unforgettable experience!
