Borislav Strulev is one of the world’s greatest cellists. The New York Times called him a ” soloist … with a rich , singing tone”. He was nominated for the Annual Russian National Music Award 2017 and 2018 as Instrumentalist of the Year in Classical Music. He has traveled all the world participating in music festivals. He frequently performs in concerts and has appeared in the USA, Canada, France, Japan, Spain, Russia, South America and South Africa. He works with many acclaimed orchestras as well as appearing in recitals.
Russian-American cellist, a musician of exceptional temperament, charismatic personality and virtuoso technique is a world-famous artist, and appreciated talent of a huge audience. Borislav Strulev is a multi-stylist, the Renaissance man in the music world, who extends the range of genres from classical and contemporary classical music to jazz and crossover. Borislav had his debut at Carnegie Hall playing with a legendary pianist Byron Janis, and also was a special guest at the ceremony dedicated to Oscar Peterson at Carnegie Hall.

The concert at the Kremlin Palace is dedicated to Borislav Strulev’s 25 years anniversary on stage. A long and very successful career of a great musician! All the evening the artists played and sang in honor of Borislav, and we all shared these unforgettable moments of the night where the music was the king.
