Artcentre Moscow presents the constantly evolving collection of artworks created by Russian and international artists from the 15th to the first half of the 20th century, the displayed paintings are given to the exhibition by the private art collectors.
The exhibition includes icons, decorative art objects and paintings representing the most important and least-known milestones of Russian art.
Many of the artworks were in the collections of such famous owners like P. Tretyakov, F. Shaliapin, or the noble ones as Grand Duchess of Russia Olga Alexandrovna, Empress Maria Alexandrovna and others. All the exhibits are of the level of world museum collections and they are displayed to public for the first time at Artcentre Moscow. After exhibiting the artworks are returned to the private collections.
On regular basis Artcentre Moscow presents rich cultural and educational program for children and adults, concerts, lectures, film screenings. There is always a special temporary exhibition held for several months only. These days it is Japanese art, a unique collection of different paintings and art objects.
